The Arizona Lottery offers a fun new scratcher game called Table Stakes. It is a $5 game and you can win up to $50,000 instantly. Like all lottery scratch off games, this one is pretty easy to play and there is not much to it. It is great for those people who need instant gratification and play scratchers rather than draw games where you have to wait to see if you win.
I picked this scratcher because as of 9/25/2012, there were 4 of the top prizes yet to be claimed and I want the best chance possible to win a top prize when I play the instant games. The prizes available to win for this game are $5,$10,$20,$25,$50,$100,$250,$500,$1000, and $50,000. The odds of winning the top prize in this game is 1 in 240,000 and the odds of winning any prize is 1 in 3.77. This game says right on the ticket that there are over $4.1 million dollars in cash prizes.
There are actually two games on this ticket, the first one being the match your numbers to the winning number. To start, you scratch off the winning numbers on the left side of the ticket and then scratch your own numbers to see if any match. If you do find a match, you scratch off the prize area to see how much you win.
If you scratch off a money bag symbol instead of a number, you win that prize automatically and if you scratch off a 5x symbol instead of a number, you automatically win 5x the amount shown in the prize area. You have 15 of your numbers, so they say you have 15 chances to win a prize.
There is also a chip bonus game on the very left of the ticket. It is 2 circles you scratch and if you revel $$ in one of both of those circles you win. One circle is $25 and the other $50. You can win on one or both of the circles. You only win if you uncover a $$ and not the other symbols because there will always be some sort of symbol under the scratch off area.

As you can clearly see from the scratched off area on this same ticket, I did not win any prizes this time.
Remember, there will always be more losing tickets than winning tickets and you must be prepared to lose every time you buy a ticket. However, there ARE winning tickets in the lottery out there and people do win. Just be careful how much you are spending and don’t go overboard.
